I have finished calculating the results from the Osprey nest roundup at the end of July!
During the roundup, all 84 nests were claimed to be monitored, data was then collected on 69 of these nests. Of these 69 monitored nests, 40 were active, 28 of which had young in the nest, 11 nests were inactive, and 18 sites were found to no longer have nests.
From the active nests, 53 adults and 47 young individuals were observed, most of these young were fledglings.
Thank you all for all of your support in collecting data on these unassigned nests. I am glad that we found so many of them were active and had so many young birds!
